  13. Depending on which Windows '95 beta edition you've received, Steve Dossick's
  14. RabbitHelp (R) will help you with WordPerfect (R) 6.1 for Windows, Microsoft
  15. Word 6.0 Windows, Microsoft Excel 5.0, Lotus 1-2-3 Rel. 5.0 for Windows, and
  16. other Windows applications.

  22. Please be as specific as possible about the version of Steve Dossick's
  23. RabbitHelp (R) you are using, your hardware configuration, and your operating
  24. system (including version).  If possible, include a test case for the problem.

  26. From our 1.0 experience, and the fact that Windows '95 itself is still under
  27. continuing development, we learned that it is impossible for us to provide
  28. support for beta releases.  There will be no Technical Support (including
  29. discussion of bugs, compatibility, or how-do-I-get it to work) for 1.1, by
  30. any media (email, telephone, etc), until the final release 1.1 is published.

  44. SECTION -1-  CD ROM BASED INSTALLATION
  45.  
  46. Insert the CD containing RabbitHelp into your CD-ROM drive.  Click
  47. "Start." This gives you one-button access to a pop-up menu. Select
  48. "Run."  At the prompt, type D:\<DIR>\SETUP (where D:\<DIR> is the name of
  49. your CD-ROM drive and the directory containing RabbitHelp). Press ENTER.

  51. When the installation is complete, you will be asked if you'd like to
  52. start RabbitHelp now.  Click yes, and you're ready to go! Just run your
  53. Windows applications as you normally would.

  55. Steve Dossick's RabbitHelp (R) is now seamlessly "plugged in" to the main menu
  56. of your applications, and is launched automatically,
  57.

  59. SECTION -2- INSTALLATION FROM DOWNLOADED ZIP FILE
  60.  
  61. 1.  Included in this ZIP file is a program to automatically install
  62.     Steve Dossick's RabbitHelp onto your hard disk.  You'll need
  63.     approximately 2mb of free disk space to complete the installation.
  64.  
  65. 2.  Click the "Start" button and select Run.  You'll be asked for the
  66.     name of the program to run.  Enter the name of the directory in
  67.     which you downloaded this ZIP file followed by SETUP.EXE.  For
  68.     example, if you downloaded the file to a directory called
  69.     "C:\DOWNLOAD", you'd type "C:\DOWNLOAD\SETUP.EXE" (without the
  70.     quotes).

  72. 3.  When the installation is complete, you will be asked if you wish to
  73.     start RabbitHelp.  Click yes, and you're ready to go!

  75. 4.  Run your Windows application as you normally would. RabbitHelp is now
  76.     seamlessly "plugged in" to the main menu of your application, and is
  77.     launched with a mouse click.
  78.  
  79. 5.  Each time you start Windows, Steve Dossick's RabbitHelp will be
  80.     loaded -- automatically -- waiting for you to start your app.
  81.  
  82. 6.  Copy the RabbitHelp .ZIP file to a 3.5" or 5 1/4" diskette. This is your
  83.     backup copy in case you need to reinstall RabbitHelp.

  85. 7.  Finally, delete the RabbitHelp .ZIP file from the download directory.
